Last year I bought the 50 lb bag of Fat Rax mineral and split it up into smaller bags. The deer dug a hole about a foot deep in the ground trying to get at it. I recommend Fat Rax 100%.

What Fat Rax is
Fat Rax Deer Mineral is Jinx’em’s loose deer mineral. Jinx’em lists the ingredients as “a proprietary blend of minerals and nutrients tailored for optimal deer health.” Their site doesn’t publish a guaranteed analysis. According to Jinx’em, it’s formulated to:
- support antler growth
- attract deer and keep them coming back to your property
- support overall deer health
- support nursing does’ milk supply for healthier fawns
Using it is simple: scatter it or pour it in a spot on your property. Jinx’em bought Invite X-tream, a mineral and food plot seed company, at the end of 2021, so minerals and seed are a big part of their line now.
